Opened just a year and a half ago, The Groove is a burgeoning local restaurant in San Marcos, Texas, quickly becoming known for its delightful breakfast and lunch offerings. As a community-driven eatery, The Groove's mission is to foster a welcoming atmosphere where good food and positive vibes prevail. Specializing in health-conscious meals that don't compromise on taste, the restaurant serves up breakfast classics, cafe staples, and more. With a curated selection of wine, beer, and mimosas, alongside delectable pastries and protein smoothies, The Groove caters to a diverse clientele looking for nutritious yet indulgent options. Standouts like the breakfast sandwich and jamaican jerk bowl exemplify the menu's quality and creativity.

Brought on board to elevate The Groove's market presence, my focus has been on harnessing digital marketing and social media to broaden the restaurant's reach and deepen its connection with the San Marcos community. Recognizing The Groove's potential as a key player in the local dining scene, my mission has been to spotlight its exceptional culinary offerings and vibrant dining experience.

My approach has been deeply rooted in capturing and sharing the essence of The Groove. By taking photos and videos on-site, I've aimed to convey the restaurant's ambiance and culinary excellence through authentic and engaging content. This visual storytelling, combined with a strategic use of social media platforms, invites prospective patrons to experience The Groove's unique charm and delicious menu firsthand.

03 — Scope of work

  • Social Media Management: Curating and managing The Groove's social media presence to showcase menu highlights, special offers, and the restaurant's inviting atmosphere.

  • Content Creation: Producing captivating photos and videos for use in social media posts, email newsletters, and other marketing materials.

  • Email Marketing: Crafting and sending weekly email newsletters that highlight specials, alongside additional emails that keep subscribers informed and engaged with The Groove's offerings and updates.

04 — Results

Since starting my role, The Groove has seen a marked increase in visibility and customer engagement, particularly through our email marketing efforts which have contributed $12,085 in sales, accounting for 8.38% of total sales. This boost underscores the effectiveness of targeted communication and compelling content in attracting diners to The Groove. Through consistent and creative marketing strategies, we're not just spreading the word about San Marcos's newest culinary gem; we're also building a community of loyal patrons eager to enjoy what The Groove has to offer.
